I know a lot of people who literally crave for the blessing of Sri Babaji, His instructions, personal teachings and His personal company.
And, on the other end, there are some who downright deny Him and everything He represents without a second thought and without firsthand experiences, I might add.
To some, He is Mahavatar Babaji whom Paramhansa Yogananda wrote about in his famous book. Sri Babaji was asked over and over again if He was the Mahavatar form Yogananda's book. His conformation, given once, didn't seem to be enough.

To others still He is just an advanced yogi, a mayavadi, a monist. Moreover, to certain people He is a mere human being.
To His disciples and those He Himself blessed and showered His mercy upon, He is direct manifestation of Sadasiva and Sri Krsna.
It is in vain to speculate about Him. It is His mercy that we need in order to understand Him. It is His Presence, Mercy and Unconditioned Love that matters, not speculations about Him.
There is in fact a really great difference between speculations (product of a material mind through reading, reasoning and other mental activities...) and direct and intimate experiences. It is direct experiences we really want, not just dry speculations and other mental acrobatics.
So, if you lack experiences with our Gurudev and you want to share your speculations here, then this is the right place for you. You are welcome to write to your heart's content.
